Massive Icebergs Heading To New Zealand

This is an article about massive icebergs that are for only the second time seen so far north. They say that the largest iceberg is about 500 meters wide. Also that there's almost 100 icebergs heading to New Zealand. This article also tells us that because only 10% of the iceberg is visible above water then this can be really dangerous for ships. They are sending alerts to all ships that are in that are near that area. This is a place were a lot of fishing,exporting and importing is done threw. They are trying to answer what made this massive piece of iceberg break from were it was attached.Some experts say that this was due because of global warming or because of a natural incident.


My opinion is that this can be very dangerous for ships and that this is a sign that global warming is getting pretty serious. I'm really worried about this and i hope people can react and turn into a better direction. Also that i want to stop global warming. The author thinks that this is really incredible because its only the second time this has happened.

Phones Cause Cancer

This article says that phone can actually be dangerous. They think that phones can cause brain tumors. Some grups disagree with this theory, but they are from phone companies. The article tells you to try to avoid using a telephone as much as you can.It says kids aren´t suppose to use telephones only on emergencies. Some people believe the side of your head in which you use your telephone is related to the side of the head people get brain tumors.
Opinion:
I believe this article is important. I´ll try to not use the telephone becuase it could give me a brain tumor and I wouldn´t like to have a brain tumor. It worries me that my mom uses the telephone almost all the time.I don´t want her to have a brain tumor.

Shanghai Disneyland

The Disney company has set an agreement with Shangai to build a theme park there. It will be a magic kingdom style park. A magic kingdom style park is a themepark style that all Disney resorts have. The first of this magic kingdom park was Disneyland California. This exciting theme park is planned to open on 2014. It’s planned to cost 3.5 billion dollars! This will be the sixth Disney resort around the world and the twelfth theme park. This isn’t the first Disney resort on China, Hong Kong Disneyland which is facing a big expansion is the first Disney resort on China. This means that the economy of China is improving so much and that China is having a big population.
Opinion
I believe this article is quite important. I can’t believe China’s economy is going so good. It also worries me that I don’t know Mandarin because China might become the potential powerof the world because its economy is improving so quickly. The school should consider teaching us Mandarin. It’s also super exciting to know that Disney is doing another Disneyland.

This article is about a scientist who lived in Colorado. He was testing something on air balloons so he told his three kids not to go out because he had started the balloon.The three kids started playing hide and seek inside the house so his smallest kid got in the attic without his brothers knowing and stayed there. The older brothers were looking for him everywhere and they did not find him so they went outside the house and when they saw the balloon was taking off they thought that there little brother was on the balloon, so they told their parents and the dad called 911 telling them that his kid was on the air balloon which was really high. So then 911 called the air force to help them get the balloon down without hurting the kid that was inside it.They wasted approximately 1 million dollars trying to get the balloon safely down to the land. So then in the radio a psychologist went on the radio and told the family to search in the antic. The family went to see in the attic and saw that the kid was hiding in the attic inside a box. So after a couple days ago they interviewed the smallest kid and they asked him why he wasn't answering when they called his name and he said that he didn't answer because he thought he was in trouble when he saw all the people gather around his house and also because he said it was part of the show.
